How do you spell passion? We spell it
M-O-T-O-R-C-Y-C-L-E
When we say Motorcycle, we actually mean PowerSports. Be it a, motorcycle, ATV, PWC, or snowmobile. We enjoy them all. No matter the make, model, size, color, or orgin.
Holding13, Inc. was established as a part time project in July of 2011. Initially founded from what we considered to be a “GAP” within the industry, CycleDump.com, was launched. Built on an auction/classified ad platform, CycleDump.com offers an online marketplace for 2nd hand, new, closeout, and discontinued PG&A (parts, gear, & accessories). Think of combining eBay and Craigslist, except only offering motorcycle related goods. As we worked to establish CycleDump, other industry shortcoming became extremely visible. On both the consumer and retail sides.
By fall of 2011 we had taken a step back to re-evaluate how dedicated we were to bringing change to stagnanet industry. With a deep breath and a leap of faith. Holding13 went from a part time project to a full time venture. Lead by two, highly skilled industry experts, Holding13 has set out to adjust certain aspects of the motorcycle industry.

The Face – Joleen S.

Attempting to steal a Yamaha M4
The face of Holding13. Her understanding of customer service, financials, and marketing steer Holding13 in the right direction. Joleen was born in Arizona but raised in the California sunshine. The oldest of 5, Joleen spends as much time with her family as possible. Despite the convenience, she’s never downloaded an ebook. Joleen would rather spend a day visiting mom and pop book stores, something about the way a book feels and smells. When she’s done exploring book stores you can find her enjoying the beach. Joleen despises spiders, refuses to wear pink nail polish, and has a tough time driving the speed limit. Her preferred method of transportation? You guessed it, a motorcycle. GSXR, FJR, or Softail she’s not picky… As long she matches.
“If it fires and has at least two wheels, I’ll give it a go. Just get the F_ out of my way!”

The Geek – Dan A.

Dan on a Triumph Thunderbird
Holding13s resident geek. Dan brings more than just 1s & 0s to the table. A nine time college drop out, Dan found the time to go from a part-time parts salesman to a dealership general manager. As you can see from the picture, Dan’s not afraid to take a chance (riding a Triumph). When he’s not plugged into a computer reading, watching tutorials, or doing what most consider to be boring, he’s grilling and having a beer. He prefers to watch basketball and rugby but neither beat cracking open peanuts at a live baseball game. Pet peeves? TRAFFIC. Dan’s not a fan of traffic, water cooler chit-chat, or dress clothes. Above all, Dan would rather be riding. Either through the Mexican desert on a dirt bike or buzzing around the beach on a scooter.
“Riding a wheelie is a lot tougher than it looks. I just don’t understand how they do it!”

CONSULTANTS

Consultants
Consultants are not to be confused with outsourcing, but rather viewed as tools in our bucket. Tools that we have collected over many years of working in and throughout the motorcycle industry. We are always looking for new and inventive people/companies to work with.
